Goal
To help persons who have been incarcerated make a successful adjustment to family and community life to develop productive lives, improve public safety and reduce the potential for re-incarceration.
Mission Statement
To provide "faith-based" community supportive services for men and women coming out of our jails and prisons and their families to reduce recidivism and break the cycle of incarceration.
Vision
To facilitate individual, family and community transitions in a manner that contributes to the quality of family life, improved public safety and decreased recidivism, New Song will 1) provide basic personal and family needs such as food, clothing and housing; gainful employment and a church surrounding, 2) help promote family structure and values and personal and family contributions to the community; and 3) seek out and engage other community support services as needed.

We believe Psalm 40, verses 1-3 explain...

1 I waited patiently for the LORD; |
| |
he turned to me and heard my cry. |
| |
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, |
| |
out of the mud and mire; |
| |
he set my feet on a rock |
| |
and gave me a firm place to stand. |
| |
3 He put a new song in my mouth, |
| |
a hymn of praise to our God... |
